Phantom of the Opera Nails! Being a huge, HUGE phan, I knew I had to do this one day!

To create this design I started of with a base coat and topped that off with my base color - a glossy black with subtle red glitter (not visible in the photos, but can be seen in the sunlight!) which is actually called “Phantom”(which is partially why I bought that polish in the first place, hehe) The polish is from a brand called “Material Girl” that is available at Macy’s.

The music note and piano I stamped using plate m73 and konad special white.

I used a detail brush, dotting tool and white polish to freehand the mask on my left ring finger.

The rose on my right ring finger is a nail decal. The rose was white so I used a dotting tool to cover it with the red glitter polish which is “Ruby Pumps” by China Glaze.

Love the final result, I’m so happy (^)_^

Physician’s formula in shimmer strips for hazel eyes. I love the pinks and browns and the highlight colors, it’s great for coordinating and it does make hazel eyes pop, but the color payoff isn’t consistent or great with any of these. It comes with an eye shadow applicator that is slightly pointed so you can also use it for lining but that’s where the seam is and it hurts! Use your own brushes for sure. It was an okay buy, I wouldn’t go out of my way to get it again.

Physician’s formula in Baked Sweets which is a shimmer pallet. There are hints of purple, gold, wine, burgundy, and a highlight color. I also reviewed this in the matte version, and I definitely prefer the shimmer one. It is 85% what I hoped color payoff would be, it isn’t consistent and you really do need to apply it we to see any of the shimmer or duo-tone in the colors, and even then I wanted more payoff. I do like it and think it’s a good value for the price.

Physician’s formula in Baked Sweets which is a matte pallet. There are hints of purple, burgundy, wine, and a pale purple highlight, but I was unimpressed with the matte version of these colors. I have the shimmer version also, and liked it a lot better. The color payoff isn’t good at all, and it left me wanting a lot more. I wouldn’t buy this again

Physician’s formula in Baked Sugar which is a matte pallet. This color combination is a great every day look, especially for those with lighter skin. The mid-tone tan color could be a little darker or brighter or something, which is why i’m not in love with it, but it is decent for the price. I wouldn’t go out of my way to get this again.

Physician’s formula in Baked S’mores which is a matte pallet. I love this smokey eye pallet combination. It can be subtle if applied dry, or dramatic if applied wet. Most of my smokey shadows are always shimmery or glittery, so having a go-to matte one is a refreshing change of pace for my make-up looks. I’d recommend it!

Physician’s formula in Baked Butter which is a matte pallet. The orange is too orange, the brown too dark and contrasting, the highlight color isn’t noticeable, and when worn dry the colors don’t stand out at all. Applying wet is a must, but I wouldn’t recommend this pallet if you have a light skin tone.

Hey everyone! Today I made a design on my nails which is a coming summer nail trend: Border nails! I’ve seen this pop up on online
So SO incredibly happy with how these turned out!
I used Milani Rapid Cherry for the border,
China Glaze First Mate for the inner color
I decided to accent the red border on my ring finger by making the border out of red 1mm nail gems and I think it looks So cute :)

Origins eye shadow in Heaven’s Sake, is a chalky sheer wash of gray blue purple that I would never recommend. It has a nasty consistency, it doesn’t have good color pay off, and it wears off quickly, even over primer.

Naturistics chrome eye shadow in pink, one of my favorite colors. There is an urban decay shadow that is similar, but I’m pretty sure this one came first. I love the light pink with hint of gold shift to it. I really hope that this company didn’t go belly up and discontinued their makeup line.

Garden mist by Milani, it’s a really sheer wash of color that fades so quickly and the texture is really chalky and nasty. The color looks great in the container, but that’s it. Milani has a few random goodies, this isn’t one of them.

This is an unnamed lancome quad of eye shadows, however it does give all 4 shade names: optic, exhibition, spectra, contrast. Exhibition I believe is the pink-ish, red-ish, color that ends up looking more like skin tone when applied. It makes a great blending color or high light. It looks like the other 3 colors are the same as in the 4passion quad and the dark purple once again falls short of the hopes I had. It looks like it should have blue/purple shift glitter in it, but the color pay off of the dark purple doesn’t allow it to show through like it is in the compact.

Fira eye shadow quartet in First Date. It’s supposed to be the colors for a smokey eye, but it does a horrible job. The glitter is too chunky and rough, the colors are powdery, chalky, and not pigmented. Don’t even think about blending….stop it, I know you just thought about it, trust me when I say you will regret it. As soon as you lightly try to blend, poof, the color that was there disappears. This is not a bargain at any price, even free.

Cover girl aqua paradise, I love this color, it reminds me of the ocean. It is a blue, a hint of green, and a touch of shimmer and gold. It makes a great eye liner when used with a small angled brush or an all over wash of color. You can pair it with silver or gold to do a colorful smokey eye.

Blistex, a roller-ball liquid chapstick that you most certainly can’t wear before bed, has a not so great taste and smell, has a bad consistency, the roller ball doesn’t coat chapped lips well, and it doesn’t actually help my chapped lips. I’m so sorry I bought this :/
